The Federation of Karnataka Chambers Of Commerce & Industry (FKCCI) has conferred Diya Systems (Mangalore) Pvt. Ltd. (GlowTouch Technologies), a US based IT/ITES Company with the most Prestigious Export Excellence Award 2010 – GOLD – for Best Services (Medium Scale) at an event organized in Bangalore on Saturday June 5th, 2010. Diya Systems has received the FKCCI Gold Award for being one of the top exporters of IT/ITES for the year 2009 – 2010.

The glittering trophy and a citation were handed over by the Hon’ble Minister for Large and Medium Industries, Govt. of Karnataka, Mr. Murugesh Nirani and Mr. T. C. A. Ranganathan, CMD-EXIM Bank.  Mr. S. V. Ranganath, Chief Secretary, Govt. Of Karnataka and Mr. J. Crasta, President, FKCCI were also present during this occasion.

The Award was received by Mr. V. K. Prabhu (Administrative Manager) and Mr. G. K. Shetty (Accounts Manager) on behalf of Dr. V Ravichandran, C.E.O.

Diya Systems (Mangalore) Pvt. Ltd. (GlowTouch Technologies), in joint association with Fr. Muller Medical College Hospital had organized a Blood Donation Camp on March 31st ’10 at our Campus. About 100 employees from our organization had volunteered to donate their blood for a noble cause. As recognition of our gesture of goodwill, the Father Muller Medical College Hospital has awarded a Certificate of Appreciation to Diya Systems and offered their sincere gratitude to all the donors.

March 31, 2010: Diya Systems (Mangalore) Pvt. Ltd. (GlowTouch Technologies), in joint association with Fr. Mullers Hospital organized a Blood Donation Camp today (March 31st) at their own Campus.

The Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated by our chief guests Dr. B. Srinivas Kakkilaya one of the renowned Physicians of Mangalore, Dr. Bharath Kumar (Company Physician), Dr. V. Ravichandran (C.E.O) and Mrs. Indira Ravichandran (Managing Director) by lighting of the lamp.

The staff of Diya Systems extended their complete cooperation and support by donating their blood. Around 100 employees in total volunteered themselves for this noble cause.

This is the second time Diya Systems / GlowTouch Technologies is organizing the blood donation camp and Dr. Ravichandran’s intention is to conduct this camp on an ongoing basis atleast twice a year.

Mangalore, Mar 21: Job Fair is one of the means to bring down unemployment in the Country. In this regard, the Government is also striving hard towards fulfilling the needs of the unemployed, declared the Hon’ble District in Charge Minister Mr. Krishna Palemar.

Govt. of Karnataka, Dakshina Kannada District, Human Resource Development Center, Dakshina Kannada, Mangalore (District Employment Exchange) in Joint Collaboration with Diya Systems (Mangalore) Pvt. Ltd. had organized a Job Fair in Karnataka Polytechnic which was inaugurated by Mr. Krishna Palemar.

Previously, the job fair which was organized by the Human Resource Development Center, Dakshina Kannada, Mangalore has registered around 15,000 unemployed candidates out of which only 2500 have been employed and 4000 are undergoing training.

Diya Systems has already provided employment opportunities to more than 800 candidates which are highly commendable. Mr. Palemar mentioned that the Government is ready to provide land and other amenities at a concessional rate to develop such Companies which are free from polluting the environment rather than to those who are polluting the environment besides lack in providing employment opportunities to the residents.

The function was presided by Dr. V. Ravichandran, Chief Executive Officer, Diya Systems. Diya Systems (Mangalore) Pvt. Ltd. (GlowTouch Technologies), in joint association with The Human Resources Development Centre of the Karnataka Government and Karnataka Vocational Training and Skill Development Corporation (KVTSDC) will conduct a Job Fair in Mangalore on March 21, 2010.

Addressing media persons here on Monday, Mr. S.D. Basavaraju, Employment Officer, Dakshina Kannada District Employment Exchange, said that the Dakshina Kannada district in-charge Minister, Mr. Krishna Palemar will inaugurate the job fair on March 21 and there will also be other Ministers who will be a part of this Inauguration ceremony which will be organized at Karnataka Polytechnic, Mangalore. The job fair, which will be on from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., will primarily look at recruiting technical support representatives for Diya Systems (Mangalore) Pvt. Ltd.

Dr V. Ravichandran, Chief Executive Officer of Diya Systems (Mangalore) Pvt Ltd, said that his company is planning to recruit around 250-300 people for its campus in Mangalore. He calls upon the candidates to make best use of this job opportunity and enhance their growth. Preference will be given to all local candidates.
